Pregnant or trying? Of course you wonder if it’s safe to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We’d be worried if you didn’t!

So, here’s the scoop: If you’re pregnant, you can receive the vaccine to protect you from severe illness. Since we don’t have a lot of data right now about COVID-19 vaccine safety and pregnancy, the CDC has set up a voluntary vaccine pregnancy registry called “v-safe” to collect health information that will help doctors and pregnant women make informed decisions.

If it makes you feel better, you can always talk with your doctor or OB/GYN about being vaccinated — though that’s not required to get the shot.
